Tasty, light weight, easy to prepare. The first two orders came in hardboard boxes. This order came in a tub. Tub will be repurposed.

They are good but I would have liked them in one pail, kind of misleading, 12 meals cut in 2 is their 24 meals, not fair for one man off grid!

I was actually expecting the worst disgusting taste ever I secretly served to my husband and I and he is extremely picky Italian and he does a lot of cooking. He actually liked it we had the burger goulash I think it was. A little salt and pepper and it was fine I could definitely eat it I wouldn't want it every day but I wouldn't want anything every day I was surprised of how good it actually tasted.

Bot for long-term storage. Mountain House has reputation for better taste but haven't tried it yet. I have purchased Mountain House and Auguson 10 cans but wanted smaller size, more portable, lightweight personal packages when travel might be required. Good to have variety.

very packable when camping. I enjoy the meals. very easy to fix with easy clean up. Pricey, but so is everything else. I have tried other cheaper brands, and will stay with Mountain House

These are one of the better flavored emergency foods. Taste pretty similar to a hamburger helper meal. Price could be a bit less but worth the flavor regardless.

Purchased mine about two months ago when the price was below $100.00 and glad I did. Todaywe'll everything is more expensive these included. If you've got a whole lot of extra money go for it you can't beat the taste and shelf life. Yes I would. Buy this again

Some folks seem confused by the package labeling of 12 pouches, and 24 servings. Hmm. There's math involved. But it's grade school math. Each package is 2 servings. If that means there's leftovers bc you're a single no worries. Share costs with another single, or split a pouch into two zip locks, and cook them in your campfire coffee cup. Great solution for 1 or 3 day hikes, too.Mountain House freeze dried foods are all pretty good. Trail tolerable for sure. Some are outstanding. They reconstitute with a min of hot water, and 10 min approx. So mealtime is not a lot of work.Keep some around the apt or house. Fast easy food in a hurry. I use this stuff at least every week or two for a work lunch, a supper, and def for breakfast. At $4 - $4.50 a serving they're not a bad deal. In fact I eat a lot of freeze dried foods, and I save hundreds a year vs throwing out spoiled produce and herbs, etc. Which saves trips shopping.

If you're eating these at home to replace your t.v dinner? Then you should probably learn how to cook! These are ment for outdoor recreation and survival! They are supper quick and easy. When you're cold wet and tired something warm sure beats a peanut butter sammich!
