I compared this to the Peak brand of Breakfast Skillet. The Mountain House was preferred by everyone in my family, including myself. The taste was good and it looked like real scrambled eggs. They were moist and the eggs did not break apart like the Peak brand. And at 3.7 oz, there are enough eggs for 2 people, or more if you serve less with other things. The Peak brand had more vegetables than egg, it seemed, and the eggs broke apart into small bits. The flavor was bland. The Mountain House required 10oz of hot water, and the Peak required 16oz, since it’s a larger package at 4.87oz. Overall, I would buy more Mountain House because of the taste, texture, visual appeal, and less water required, but if you want more vegetables and can add some seasoning, the Peak is a good option also.
