The construction of this pump is very solid, the silicon tubing withstands the iron's heat, and the pump very efficiently cleans even large holes of nearly all solder.

This de-soldering tool is the best design I've ever used the silicone tip (replaceable and comes with spares) makes getting solder out of joints a breeze. My past versions of this tool have not been nearly as well made or as effective, well worth the money!

Works as advertised

I purchased this to replace the 3 volt batteries in my car's key fob. Just heat, depress the tip on the soldered joint, and press the button ... the batteries just fell out. No mess; no fuss.

Very well made tool , with THIS on the bench if I only have a few pieces to do ? I don't even plug in my Hakko 808 anymore . Not saying I'd never use it again , but it has to be something big like rebuilding a whole board or something . The Engineer would do a good job there too but would take longer . Great tool for the money !!

Very good device. Only downside is the tendency of the silicone hose to become clogged with with solder. A minor inconvenience

If you are still using the cheap blue plastic ones that come with a solder kit, throw it away and get this. $20 may seem a little expensive but its well worth it. There is a silicone tip that allows you to isolate the solder point to allow the suction to actually work much better than just a plastic tip. All in all, if you solder anything on electronics, this is a must have.

Perfect for intended use - clean pull first try. Easy to clear. Perfect size, and my hands are not small.

Using de-solder braid is obsolete now. This is so fast it's not even funny.

This thing is well built. Worth the money

Now that I've been using it for a couple months I love it and it's worth the small amount of extra cost compared to the cheaper one.
