I bought this as a replacement to my waterproof clamshell baseball hat. The fabric is water repellent- see water beads in photo. Hat seemed shallow and wide so I had to pull the adjustable cord tight but overall I'm happy with it. As a bonus, I got it on sale so it's half the price of my favorite hat.

Really well engineered simple fatigue cap; the cloth, the performance under any weather (yes, it's lightweight, but it stands bravely wet weather under prolonged circumstances). I can't see a flaw in it and I just don't know why there should be any. Absolutely recommended.

Needed a new hat for a trip to Costa Rica and bought this one. Love the hat and the foldable brim. This allowed for easy cary in my cargo pocket. It's a little tight so might need a different size.

Ordered this and was very pleased with it. Lost it and quickly re-ordered another one. Folds neatly and fits in my pocket. Adjusts easily to my size.

I own seven of these hats in red, mineral, and blue camo. Why so many? I got the red one for hiking, etc. and started wearing it all the time. Loved the fit, the glasses holding slits, the folding bill, even the look on me compared to a baseball cap. However, the red fabric turned out to hold salt and oil, and I had to clean it frequently to prevent discoloration. So I bought a second to wear when the first was drying. After a few days wear I scrub it with castille soap and let it air dry.I liked them so much and saw the blue camo on sale, so I got three for work. Again, the glasses holder is great for always keeping safety glasses handy. The blue camo material is smoother and somehow soaks up less, both from my head and from stuff that lands on it. I'd take the hat into the shower every day at the end if shift and clean it, hang to dry, etc.Work tightened regs on clothing selection, so the blue camo had to go, but the boss said grey would work, so I ordered two more. So, I'm pretty much wearing these all the time.My only real complaint is that they don't breath as well as perhaps advertised, but I live in the Pacific NW and don't deal with high temps very much. On a (what we call) hot day if I'm going to be out in the sun, I'll usually opt for a lighter hat.

The cap is exactly as posted. The design allows for size adjustment using a rear strip.

Great Hat and all its features. The only problem is it's description states its a red hat, the color is no whare near red it's more of an orange rust color. Disappointed there isn't a true red color.

The structure of the hat is a good alternative for people who look awkward in baseball caps. However, the ventilation only serves to hold sunglasses. The hat sits shallow on the head, and secures with a cinch cord. The combination of a close fit and a tight seal produces heat comparable to a standard cap, despite the lower weight.The brim is shorter than a typical cap, but angles down to protect the eyes without significantly impairing vision.

I love this hat. It's more expensive than other similar hats, but worth it. This hat is functional, cute, and comfortable. I also have it in an army green color.

Perfect hat for me. Adjustable and foldable. No wrinkles after folding. Sunglass slot really works. I'll be buying others some day.
