I bumped a fence post with my zero turn putting a tiny hole in the bottom of my gas tank which created a steady drip. When I learned that a new tank would cost upwards of $350, I searched for a repair option. This kit did the job and save a lot of money. Some words of advice. When you mix the epoxy, you need to work quickly as you have only about 5 minutes until it hardens. I wrongly assumed you had 5 minutes after you opened the mix. Had to buy a second one to complete the repair. :) Also the epoxy mix is very runny, so think drop cloth if you are working underneath the tank as I was.

My tank on my snow blower was leaking like crazy.I decided to give this a try. It works well at sealing holes, but if you have large holes or areas (like the entire seal around the top half of the tank - like mine) it might not be enough. Also note it starts to harden really quickly, so you have to work quickly and might need a second pack for a large area.

The only product I found that can be applied on a dripping fuel tank. I had a small cut on the bottom of a plastic fuel tank that was slowly dripping. All other products I tried would dissolve in the leaking fuel and not fully seal after drying. This is the only product that sealed the tank. If applied on a dripping hole wait a little longer before applying it, it will be less liquid and not wash out that easy because of the fuel. Dries very fast so be prepared! On a plastic fuel tank this is still just a temporary fix; the patch becomes so hard that it will crack and leak after the plastic tank deforms a couple of times after refills and driving around.

This stuff works so good I ordered an extra to have on hand in case we screwed up again. This repair kit saved us thousands of $$$ from not having to change the tank on our tractor. It's been on for a couple months and still no leaks. We had a hole on the bottom of the tank. Needless to say, I am impressed.
