I lost my last hard hat and needed to replace it. This 3M hard hat is easy to assemble and has an extremely comfortable suspension system. My last one would irritate my head a bit after a few hours of use, but this one is so comfortable I hardly even know I have it on.Great price, great comfort, great value.

Very comfortable and I wear it for 12 hours at a time. It has saved me from hitting my head on machinery more times than I can count.

It comes unassembled, but the instructions on the bag are great and overall easy DIY. Additionally, great value, I saw the same ones on HomeDepot for more!

Adjustable and an overall good hard hat. Take your time and watch the video to figure out how to fit the band. Important you get it right.

I needed to pick up a hard hat for CERT, so a basic green hard hat is what I needed. Like all the other reviews, the suspension system is a little counterintuitive until you properly install the first one, and then it takes about 30 seconds to finish up the other three. My recommendation is to start with one of the rear mounts because it will be obvious you are installing it wrong. If you are wondering how a big tab fits in the small slot, or you are physically muscling it in, you need to look at the pictures again.The hat fits my colossal head, and it is very adjustable via the dial mechanism. There is also an adjustment for the suspension system to adjust how high it rides on your head. It does everything one would expect from a basic hard hat.

used for spelunking and was definitely a necessary PPE...i bought 4 and all 4 heads they went on were more than thankful to have them...yes they got knocked off a couple heads a couple times but doing what we werw doing unless ya have a chin strap its going to happen...rachet tightner was totally nice...decent buy all round considering the money!
