It's sturdy, easy to use, light, and comfortable. I would suggest anyone that needs a stool for camping or doing work use this. For me, it was the perfect height to sit down and get back up. I can see this being used for a lot more than just camping or outdoor events.

My mom runs races at Disney world and the lines to get their bib number can take up to 3 hours. So I gifted her this and she said it was perfect

I am on the chubby side....now I'm not saying I'm fat, but chubby enough to decide to buy a packable stool in case I need a break while hiking or backpacking. This thing is lightweight and easy to attach to my backpack and sturdy enough that it held me comfortably. And that's something as I am a bit chubby. That being said, I haven't used it other than to test it out because, though, as I said, I am a bit chubby, I never stopped to rest on any of our bikes to avoid being ridiculed by my teenage son. Like the bear spray we purchased for the same trip, I am glad I bought and more glad I didn't need it.

This thing clips onto anything with a single carabiner. It's short enough to fit in a daypack too. For the price, you can beat it. I would think the weight limit would be around 250. I'm 200 and it feels pretty solid. Another great product from Alps.

Comes with a carrying case.Not as comfortable for me and my 11 year old daughter as her very similar Quest brand stool from our local sporting goods store. But it works. Five stars.

Have a bum leg so I take this in my backpack in case I have to stop and rest. Works perfectly and weighs practically nothing. Easily supports my 250 lb weight

Have used this a few times camping, and it's really a good little stool. Folds up and goes into it's bag easily. It's pretty sturdy, and doesn't feel like its going to go out from under me. Has some good feet that make it pretty stable.They even attached the velcro to the chair so you don't loose it. It takes almost no room in my trailer.I have had other Alps gear, and it tends to be quality stuff that lasts.

I got these because most of the dg branded tripod stools out there a pretty flimsy, and I don’t trust the aluminum legs. These are steel, and the seat is fastened well. A little short, but that makes it really easy to transport. I have a Trooper bag, and the strap on the stool threads through the d-rings on either side so it sits above your discs, and isn’t swinging around. Great for playing large courses, popping a squat while waiting to tee, or bring it with to spectate a tournament.
