I have a 1970 C10, that needed a new float. My sending unit itself was in good shape but the brass float filled up with gas. I purchased this plastic float and it fit perfectly and works like it should!

Just have to enlarge the holding piece a little. the old piece is shaped the same, just a smidge smaller. It got flooded with gasoline over the past 30 years and wouldn't float anymore. This fixed it. There's another brass one in case this one fails - that's 3x the price... If this lasts another 30 years, I'm good with it.

Can not get a fuel float for a 97 f250 with the 7.3 diesel to save your life, but this float fits like factory and got my front tank reading again

Even though the listing didn't specify it, based on the Q A and reviews, I figured this might fit in my 1965 Ford F250 (even if I had to do some modification to the float arm).To my delight, it snapped right into place on the float arm perfectly! I think this one should hold up much better than the original brass float .

The fuel level sending unit bulb in my 72 ford got a whole in it and sank to the bottom of the tank... Again!You can't buy just the bulb at the parts stores near me so this was a huge savings and I still get to keep the original sensor which I know is matched to the dashboard.

I have used this type of gas tank float for years and find it to be less problematic than a brass float.
