These trim rings are sturdy and well machined to fit standard hum buckets. Gold finish was pretty good but BEWARE the finish scratches very easily. I was very careful installing mine but just the wood dust that came out of the drilled holes scratched the surface when I tried to wipe it off. Not too happy about that but I needed them so I will use them and definitely look for better quality ones in the near future. I would never buy these again knowing how easily they scuff up with just a little dust under your fingertips.

I wanted to replace my Humbucker pickup mounts with more durable metal ones. Although the description states flat, key parts are not flat at all, despite what the pictures indicate. The base is flat all around, but the top are angled, like the rings around a Gibson Les Paul. Expect the front edge to be a different height.

Slightly too large to fit the humbucker in snuggly. This leads to the humbucker moving around.

These are pretty heavy duty pick up covers. Look really good and the added weight really rebalances the guitar. I was having issues with neck dive but noticed after I put them on the guitar tended to lend back. Unexpected and didn't even think about it. Sweet product regardless.

I just bought a pair of these chrome for a Schecter V . They went on perfectly. Installed em in about 15 minutes. Great price too under 15.00 American. Very happy. Will definitely buy from this company again.

There was some chrome plating missing on one of mine, and it appears to be brass metal underneath.Comparing the tone on a humbucker vs the original plastic ring, there appears to be a subtle change in tone. A bit more focused, a bit more mids. I liked it. You'll have to test it yourself and see what you think.The other reason to try it is to have less plastic on your guitar. And it may look good.They are standard humbucker size.

I really like these pickup rings. Very sturdy and well made. Fit perfectly but I made sure they were flat bottom instead of curved since my guitar was flat and does not have a raised or curved cap. They have some weight to them too. Just received a black metal pair for one of my LP copies that I have to install.

These are very sturdy, and look amazing on my guitar. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because only one side lined up with the screw holes so I had to do some drilling to make these fit. Other than that I totally recommend getting these to replace the cheep plastic ones.
