I got this for my 9 and 7 year old and it is the best! The other magic sets we have gotten them are cheap and very obvious how the tricks are done. Some of the tricks in this actually amazed adults (especially the coin in the 4 boxes). I highly recommend!

Got this for my 8 year old nephew and he loved it. He figured out the tricks on his own and was excited to show everyone. I wasn't sure if he would get into it since he loves video games so much, but he loved it!

I got this magic set for my husband for his birthday a few years ago after our middle daughter got it for our grandaghter for Christmas a few years ago. He was such a big kid at heart. Well, my wonderful husband passed away October 8, 2021. When my youngest daughter's childhood friends came to visit and show support afterward we brought out John's magic set and the girls did all the magic tricks. We laughed and cried and remembered John and how speacial he was. I got this magic set to send to my daughters friends, who are sisters and are very close. They loved it! It's such a cute little magic set and a really cool gift for anyone who still has a sense of wonder.

This magic set is very great quality. Everything is very sturdy and solid wood. Even comes with a box to put the tricks in. Everything else was very cheap that I was looking at and this is definitely by far the best kit you can buy. You get what you pay for

The change bag is a little jenky. It is all wood. Otherwise the set is great. it has a One Ahead trick rarely seen. Nice.

Well made and awesome. The tricks can be well.... tricky but once they get it there's no stopping them. Before long she will be sawing us in half. She already made her brother disappear.

You can't go wrong with Melissa and Doug. Our 5 year old is all of a sudden into magic and this kit is very developmentally appropriate. Easy to follow directions and sturdy wood products. Quality is always first at Melissa and Doug.

I actually bought two different magic sets for brothers because I wanted them to have different sets. This one was far superior in packaging and the props work. Instructions were all pretty easy for him to understand.

The tricks are high quality and the instructions were very good. My 7 year old nephew was able to put on a show after only practicing a few hours. He looking forward to learning all the tricks.

Easy to understand trick mechanics for any age. My kids have not stopped playing with it since Christmas and have actually developed even stronger magic skills as a result of wanting to learn more about the tricks in this playset.

This set is cute. It has a lot of pieces and tricks to do, which is why I got it. But the bag is already fraying and the secret bar thing that makes the trick isn't hidden so well. Like I don't think my son could actually trick anybody. The other tricks are super cute though. He's five and loves it. I read the directions to teach him the tricks and I found it complicated. I would even older children might have a hard time. I imagine all magic sets would be like that though.

Our box did not come with any instructions! My grandkids have figured out a few of the tricks, but you need instructions.Will contact the manufacturer.Revised my review after finally finding the instructions. I had to tear the cardboard out of the box to find the instructions buried underneath.

Really fun game for the kids esp when we are staying at home right now. I bought it as a gift for friend;s kid. Kids would have something interesting to play with while keeping inside the home. Adults can also participate without being bored.

I have this to my 8 year old nephew at Christmas. It was a huge hit, and he and his 10 year old brother proceeded to try all of the tricks on us for the next several hours. They're just challenging enough to be cool and a little mysterious, but easy enough for a young kid who can read the instructions to learn. Prepare yourself to be the audience for the same trick over and over, and mirror their excitement every time! It's worth it for the smiles. It meets the quality standards today other MD toys with work and cloth construction and great painted designs.
