It's an excellent rendition of the authentic military jacket that we use in the armed forces, but the only downside is I spoke to RothCo and they suggested the same size as what I bought for the rest of my uniform attire, a small. The size was too small for me, arms were too short, waistline didn't cover my blouse, so I hope to send it back even without original tag or packaging, since those had been literally torn apart or/off. RothCo's mistake on their part for their recommendation, not my seller.

Great fit but those zippered back pockets are for a runners windbreaker and don't belong on this jacket imo

awesome coat, very warm. the only reason I did'nt give it 5 stars is because of the zippers in the armpit area, great idea but kind of bothersome if wearing short sleeve

Awesome jacket only problem was the zipper is messed up a bit doesn't align properly, but if I zip it slow it works, other than that love the jacket

Returned. I'm 5'7 athletic build and this jacket seems to be made for rounder guys. Good quality product but not what I expected.

Overall, I'm really happy with this jacket. High quality vs the similar Condor option. I'm 6'2" 230 lbs mostly muscular build and anyone in my position knows it's difficult to find properly fitting clothing for such a build, as common as it's becoming... Anyhow, order a size down. I typically wear XL everything and that's a bit tight, but Rothco caters to real men. The length is just a tad short, but nice wide shoulders, tapered waste and perfect arm length/ structure. Ps, non stop compliments. Aka, I have a new favorite jacket!

Large chest and hood. Grest fit over armor. A bit on the heavy side. Well constructed and comfortable.

Too Small for a 3x, most 3x fit me. I really wished it fitted as I like the looks but it needs to go back.

Excellent value for the money. It is very warm and has lots of pockets. There is enough room under it for layering and the fleece liner is nice and soft.<br /><br />I am 6' 170lbs and its the right torso length and a little too long in the arms with isn't an issue for me as it extends past the cuffs of my gloves well enough. The vents under the arms are a little annoying. when I am just wearing a t-shirt underneath the zipper seams scratch my underarms. Also the vents could be a little longer. Getting the zipper started in either direction can be a bit problematic.<br /><br />Other than those minor gripes I love this soft shell.

Great jacket to start off with. A few issues. Minor in my opinion. BUT the front chest pockets go against what I'm used to - being that rather than go horizontally across the chest it's a deep vertical pocket. I'm not a big fan. You need to use same hand same side to use the pocket functionally. No cross drawing across your chest.

I have one for myself (medium, 5'8", 185lbs), and now one for my son (small, 5'4", 120lbs). Both fit great. For a made in China product this jacket is really good. The quality of the material and sewing is first rate. Not to mention that is under $100. We've worn them in light rain, and down to 30F and they have worked good. Great jacket for a growing kid, or a an adult. My only complaint is the hood. When stowed in the collar it feels like you are wearing a life preserver. I would recommend the Condor over this jacket (my family has 5 of the almost identical Condor jackets) unless Condor doesn't have the color you are looking for. I got these jackets because they are in woodland.
