Over the years, I have bought many solar panels for my feeders. This is the one I changed all my previous ones to. The cable protector was enough to win me over. Racoons have hanged from it and cable and panel still stands perfectly.

Only issue was protective cable didn't stay attached to panel ...no threads or nut on cable to secure to panel was just compression fitting had to glue in so wires weren't exposed.

Charges the heck out of a 6v battery. My 1st one ran around 10.5 vdc so a good electrical potential to keep a feeder battery charged. The second was 9.15 vdc out of the box and still a good charger. 2 self tappers with rubber grommets for water seepage attaches to the south side of any steel or plastic drum. 2 foot flexible steel conduit with a 2 foot bare wire leader. Alligator clips at the end. Use electrical tape to keep all the connections to gether and not shorted out in the feeder casing.

This thing has kept my rechargable battery full for 3 weeks now no complaints at all. Its partially shaded area where I have it. it is set to feed twice a day wouldnt hesitate to buy another.

The instructions are terrible. I just figured it out on my own and it all worked out (to my eye). See my pics to see how I rigged it up. I used the twisty tie that came with it, to hold a loop in place to take up slack and create a low point for water to drop off. Drill a single hole and screw 4 screws in and your done. Attach to your battery and away you go.Haven't had it long enough for a honest review on how it's charging. I have hopes it will help maintain a charge just fine on my 6v system.
