It keeps the sun out of my eyes when it is sunny. Which is a plus for a hat. Also keeps rain out of my eyes when it rains.

This is hat it is great, it holds up well. It fit's great and the long bill is prefect for out door and keeps the sun out of face, the rain out of your eyes and it is just a great hat, my husband loves it and would not have anything else. Also do not machine wash, must be hand washed and hung up to dry.

Love these $9 hats, clean look perfect for work or really any occasion. If they get sweaty or ruined just get another one, it's a 1/3 of the cost of a branded hat!

Richardson 112's are the o my hats I will wear anymore. They just fit. They come down far enough on the head that they lock on and I feel the wind won't take it away.
