My snappy 9/64 drill snapped. haha.that thing was only 2 inches long so I wanted something that would pilot through deeper material.This drill is such an upgrade. It effortlessly dives into wood. and with the snappy countersink hex shank that I put on the end of it - the thing is going to be a major work horse for me.

Bought several of these to replace another brand I bought as a set that snapped in half on the first use drilling wood. These are a much better quality and should last for some time I believe.

I am retired from the aviation corporate jet manufacturing industry. Only the best drill bits were used in the manufacturing of the jets. They last forever, with only sharpening. This drill bit looked and felt exactly that good. Then I used it and WOW, it brought back memories of those highest quality bits. I absolutely know this bit will be with me forever. About time I found a bit that will not dissaspoint after one or two uses. Two thumbs up.

Used to drill out a SS bolt broke in aluminum head on outboard. Don't drill fast or excessive pressure. I kept dipping bit in brake fluid to keep cool. Take your time.

Had to drill a series of 1/2 holes in a truck frame, this bit went thru like a hot knife thru butter.

I couldn't find this size in an extended length in my local stores. In my case I use the bit to drill holes in plaster of Paris.

Awesome drill bit. Had to attach strap hinges with carriage bolts for my shed doors. Had to drill in stud walls. Hit some framing nails and this bit cut thru like butter. Very impressive.

Fast delivery and correct product. This bit is great! Extremely sharp and very strong. Priced even better than my local Harbor Freight. I would wager this particular bit I purchased will outlast any other bit I have bought in the past. I am currently trying to get a full set of these bits. Highly recommend!

Fantastic bit. Ordered to drill and tap the blind hole of a tensionor pulley bolt that was stripped by prior timing belt replacement on a 2001 Honda Civic. The length of the bit allowed me to accomplish this without pulling the motor. Access was achieved by drilling a small window through the frame.

Got this 12 inch long drill bit to drill out a broken grade 8 bolt in a hard to reach hinge assembly on a classic chevrolet. Worked better than expected. The drill bit went through the bolt like a hot knife through butter.
