Thought this was a nice idea, but when it arrived it was so small I needed a magnifying glass to read the numbers. There's a green area in the middle for your good temps but it's hard to even see whether the line is in that area or not. It might have been okay anyway (does the line touch the green area without going past it?), except that there's nothing keeping it facing any particular direction since it's round, so several times I went to check and it was facing away from me. I had to stick my hand down into the bottom of the aquarium to turn it around so I could even see it.

There is no suction cup that came with this. So I have to put it in the tank everytime for a reading. At least the reading is accurate

It is impossible to read this thermometer. While it’s compact size is great for a small tank, not being able to see the red line renders the product useless.

I bought this for my turtle tank and the price was great, fast delivery and I think it gives a pretty accurate reading (will truly find out when my other one shows up). What I don't like is that it is really small so imagine trying to read numbers on this tiny thing while it's in water. It stands upright and not attached to anything, anything happens to swim by or bump, you then need to fix the way it's facing. with a temp view on only one side if it is turned slightly or turns all the way around you can read the temp at all. Not beneficial if you want to check the temp without putting your hands in the water daily

I liked this thermometer it looks great compared to the other thermometers, the only thing is hard to read, but if I really focus a bit I can see.

Does the job for $2. It sink no plastic sucker included. Pretty accurate for approximate Temperatures.

Dependable temperature readings (a miracle in itself!) It rests on the bottom of your tank, and is not attached to anything. Even without fish in the tank, and a filter that hardly moves any water, this will drift a bit off from where I placed it, rotating to the side, making it difficult to impossible to see the red temp line. The temp scale and number print is SO TINY that I have to use my cellphone camera to read it. (Maybe YOU can read microscopic print.) The next one I get will have suction to attach it firmly to the glass... and I'll keep on zooming in with my cellphone to read it. Unless YOU can give me a better, more readable, but dependable option! Happy hunting!

It's a cheap thermometer. It stands on the tank bottom. I don't remember it coming with a suction cup. I got what I ordered.
