I got these so I could easily handle my cats during the Exorcism-level tantrums that result from being put into their carrier. They've lasted through a couple of vet visits and one very traumatic apartment move and while no animal glove is 100 puncture proof (do NOT use them in wild animal situations with rabies risk) these things transformed an entire afternoon of full-strength cat bites and swipes into a handful of sharp pencil pokes in a few spots where they got lucky.One thing to note: due to the inner lining these gloves are very difficult to put back on if you take them off after working up a sweat in them.

Thought the stitching might be a little stronger on the forearm. Other than this its a great glove for the price.

Definitely the right type of glove for dealing with feral small animals. They are a bit heavy, but that is necessary because of the thick material. The only problem I have with this is that the gloves come out of the packaging with a significant strong curing smell, as if the leather material was so fresh that it had not cured completely before packaging. Have to set them outside to keep that odor down.

I use these gloves when playing with my Siberian Husky. He loves to play rough and these gloves do a great job of protecting my hands and wrists from getting torn up. So far they have held up very well.

They are well made, my inside kitties like to lie on them, but they're sort of large on my small hands. Haven't used them yet but plan to grab one of the feral kitties with them soon. Better than getting bitten and scratched!
