Before I get into what I like, there is one problem I've had with this. The base is does not quite secure the propane bottles as well as it should. I've had this thing tip over on my several times, while it does shut off when it tips, it could create a fire hazard if the hot metal top lands on something that burns easily.Now for the good, I've taken this thing camping several times in cooler to cold weather and it is too much heat for my small 2 person tent. I actually had to use a larger tent so I wasn't trying to sleep in a sauna. If you are using this as a personal heater in a small room, it will do OK too, but in larger rooms, it will just keep your feet and legs pretty toasty.There's no fan, so it's just radiated heat, but once it gets going it radiates plenty of heat.

The little buddy is the perfect solution for a safe, in the camper van heater. We used it recently on a 7 day trip to Utah, where the outside temperature in the evening was typical in the high 20's. It would heat the inside of the van to 70 easily and very fuel efficient. My complaint - while the heater works great, the plastic base you put the propane tank into, broke on the first use. We will see if I can get Mr heater to replace the base. The propane cans are bigger than the base.In addition it only has two settings on and off... sure wish it had a high and low.

Puts out a lot a heat, for such a small unit. Very light and easy to transport.

if your outside using this to stay warm? You gotta be right on top of it practically to get the best heat. But other than than that, I love it.

Thought the size would be a whole lot smaller than it is. Didn’t read enough. Not something you’re going to want to carry around.

Straight out of the box. The pilot flame stays lit, but the burner won’t come on. Several attempts and nothing happened.

It puts out wonderful heat and once you get the hang of how to start it, it is easy to operate. But for some reason they made the base that holds the canister just a tiny bit too small. I used the exact 1 lb canister recommended and it was just slightly too large to fit in the base. It kind of just barely sits in it and wobbles. Since his thing is top heavy already, it will tip over. Not if but when. Prob why so many others say it will start a fire. For something that is so dangerous if tipped and easily starts fires, you would think the engineers behind this product could have put a few more brain cells together to form a more stable base. It's like they want to start fires. If this one simple thing were designed correctly. This thing is a beast heat maker. I just wish I could trust it would remain upright for more than 45 seconds. If you do buy it, always prop it up. Always. Because it will not stand as it is designed.

It works fine. You just have to finesse the ignition button a little. Found out I have to lighten the amount of pressure on the button once the pilot is lit. I use it to heat a 6’x6’ outhouse at the deer lease. Does the job. Oh, and people, the rattling sound you hear doesn’t mean it’s broken!! That’s the tip over safety device in action. Almost all new little space heaters have this. Worried about carbon monoxide, use a monitoring device. Only thing I don’t like about this model is that it is too tall. Should have spent a little more and got a different, larger btu model. They seem to be lower and more stable.
