So stuff hard to move the mount around while on a kayak. Hoping it'll loosen up over time

Would be 5 stars but the backing plates used to install these holders wasted 3 hrs of my life and caused major frustration. Junk Hardware. The bolts strip ridiculously easy.

These were larger than I expected and aren't really designed for holding an ultra-light open faced reel/spinning rod securely. Nothing wrong with the product itself, just wasn't what I was looking for.
