I have a picky lovebird who was weened onto a seed diet. He is still a baby who refuses to use his optimal beak strength to crack species-appropriate sizes of food so he refuses the regular pellets found in a typical lovebird food mix.The Harrison's Superfine pellets were the exact perfect size for my finnicky baby. I didn't even have to ween him onto this mix; he took to it immediately.I am not an avian expert but I attributed his initial lethargy and sleepiness when I first got him to the seed diet he was on. He also had loose, watery poops.After a couple of days on Harrison's, he became more energetic and playful. He now has healthy-looking poop and his feathers look more lustrous as well.
