This was exactly what I hoped it would be. It really packed a punch! It's a little more spicy then I expected, so I have to use less than my recipe calls for. I bought another brand but it is so bland I have no use for it. Will stick with Frontier. It makes my Ethiopian food taste authentic.

I usually make my own spice mixes, but I was out of town and tried this blend. It is perfect for roasted yams or roasted butternut squash. I am leaving this review because I was thrilled at how this was packaged. It is a normal size glass spice container and they had a perfect fitting thick cardboard container encapsulating it. I will buy from them again.

Don't waste your time or money, go to Whole Foods and get it. First off I've waited almost a month for this product and when I received it I only got 1!

This spice is flavorful with a bit of heat. Cayenne pepper is the 3rd ingredient and it packs a punch. The ginger and fenugreek flavors are also very apparent. Highly recommend. Used it to make misir wat (Ethiopian spiced lentils).

Not a huge fan of Vindaloo (goes against my food shouldn't hurt plan).If at all possible, I would definitely like to receive the Berbere Seasoning originally ordered...Thanks.

This is my first time trying a berbere spice so I can't speak to its authenticity. Anything I make with this comes out so, so good. Just the smells in the house while cooking with it makes everyone hunger for dinner.

The flavor is amazing. We even add it to popcorn and vegetables. This spice is not sold in any local grocery stores near me. The price is what I pay for other spices that are the same size or even smaller. I realize different spices have different costs. However, I'm happy with the cost of this spice

If you LOVE Ethiopian food and spice, I highly recommend getting the Berbere seasoning! So versatile and elevates any lentil dish. I love this spice so much, I've gifted it to friends!
