I bought this table for a relatively small room (15x8) in my house that I use as a bedroom. Since there isn't a whole lot of room, I wanted a smallish desk that I could push against the wall and use for a laptop or my iMac all in one, and have a little room for taking notes, a drink, and other items like that. This desk fits the bill nicely. It is a wood (not particle-board) desk, made in the USA, and I'm quite pleased with the build quality.There was some light assembly required, but they gave you all of the needed tools and it took me about 15 minutes to put the thing together. I definitely recommend this table to anyone looking to get a nice work area in a small room.

I really like this little console! It looks great, more expensive than what I actually paid for it. It is easy to clean and is the perfect size.

My table arrived in perfect condition in 4 days after placing the order. I specifically ordered it to make it into a sewing table. To do this we had to remove the drawer and cut a hole in the top large enough to fit my sewing machine. We used 4 "L" shaped steel brackets from the hardware store (using 3/4" screws with a washer behind the bracket to keep the screw from going all the way through)and a piece of plywood for a shelf to hold the machine. Then we cut a hole in the table top to fit the machine. We could not use the drawer because the machine took up most of the space so we turned the table around and used the back for the front (also allows more air circulation for the sewing machine). We cut the hole 2 inches longer than the machine measurement to accommodate the cords and air vent on the sewing machine. The shelf turned out to be a little too low so to raise the machine we put a couple of old magazines under the machine and it raised it to the perfect level. It took us a week to get the courage to cut a hole in the top of our beautiful new table, but we finally did it and it turned out great. Neither of us had ever used a jigsaw but it was much easier than we expected. On the corners of our cut we drilled holes to make rounded corners (to match the shape of the sewing machine) and also to have a place to put the blade of the saw to get started. I love my new sewing table. It lowered the machine to a more comfortable height and is not as stressful on my shoulders from using it on the dining room table that was too high for comfort. Not nearly as expensive to do as buying one of the plastic ones made for this purpose, looks much better, and not as wobbly.

In spite of the price, this is a quality piece of hardwood furniture. This is not the particle board junk peddled by many retailers.If you're in the market for a Shaker style Console Table, this is the table for you.

Very sturdy table, solid look and feel. Well packaged and very easy to assemble. I have it placed behind my sofa to hold a lamp. Perfect fit.

Its a nice finish. Strong built. Looks nice You can put it in various rooms. Girls have complimented it. It is not that deep so you may not have elbow rest on a laptop. Keep that in mind. if you are looking for a deep study desk then go elsewhere. If you are looking for a nice laptop table that is versatile in where you can put it its great looking and functional.

This table came very quickly - 2 days after I ordered it. It was packaged very well -- no damage to the packaging or the table at all. It took about 10 minutes to put together, and is it very sturdy but still nice looking. Would definitely recommend.

Nice quality. I use it as a computer table in front of my living room window. It is a great height. Could be used for plants, too. Makes for nice decorating glass items with the light shining through.
