When did it start taking an hour to finish this game? It seems impossible for someone to win, and after half an hour we often have to alter the game rules so everything is a ladder so my five year old stays interested. However, the pieces are quality, the board is sturdy, and the spinner is better than some but not the best.

I bought this game for my kids after remembering enjoying it as a child. I had a completely different experience as an adult. It's hard for little kids to know in what direction they should be moving their piece. It's also a very LONG game. Both my daughter and I were sick of it after about 30 minutes when we couldn't seem to reach the end. With everything completely done by chance, you could play the same game for days if you keep hitting chutes.<br /><br />We eventually just stopped playing and haven't played it since. It's possible when she's old enough to play without help and her brother is also, that they'll enjoy it. But definitely not a game I'd choose to play. We had a lot more fun with a kid friendly monopoly.
