I like the fan but, I should have purchased the 400cfm model. The 2to 00 cfm moves a fair amount of air, but I have a large bathroom. The design where you have to remove the fan from the ends to reach the mounting holes needs changed to make it easier to mount. Then there is the wired fan control switch, I intended to use a single gang box to mount in my bathroom wall. The problem the one that came with my unit was not designed to mount that way. Luckily, my inside walls are tongue and groove 2 by 8 boards, so I was able to cut just the right size hole to mount the switch and put a face plate on it. I'm using the fan as an exhaust fan using an existing exhaust hole through my 6x12 log walls. I wish they had offered for sale a grill and inlet. I looked at a number of fans and this to me was the better choice for moving air, it just needs a few modifications. As for sound mine is mounted nearly directly above the controller is, with just a 2 inch. thick wood ceiling and I forget it's on because I can hardly hear it.
