My only complaint is that I wish the inside diameter was 4 1/4” instead of 4”. It can be difficult to slide over the pipe on your dryer or vent. Otherwise it seems durable.

These are snug to put on. Got to be careful when putting on or taking off. The black finish looks really nice on our dark dryer.

Such a tight fit it ripped a little. It rips pretty easy so be careful.

Installer of my dryer commented on the great quality stated it would last much longer than the flimsy aluminum style. Definitely gives me peace of mind.

Went to clean out the lint collections over the years broke my existing hose so this was a good replacement.

I am not using this for dryer ventilation, I am actually using it to vent exhaust out the back of my 3D printer enclosure using adapters to fit a 120mm fan to the ducting.This black outer skin makes the whole getup way less ugly, and possibly more durable. I wouldn't know because I've never worked with standard 4inch ducting before. I would probablyly buy this again if I needed to vent a dryer.

A bit tricky to install as this is a touch smaller than 4” so making a great 4” connection should use a reducer, or expect to trim it open slightly

I have a 4in hose outlet on my drier and this hose was very hard to get on. You have to constantly twist and turn to get it on. Took around 5 min to install once you get it on. Has been on for about 1 year and we have had 0 issues. So other than the difficulty of getting the hose on, it is great.

Seriously would like to know why 4 ducting is 3 and 5/8 inches? Can I get 3/8 of my money back?!Luckily, everything I purchased for my grow tent matched up ok...This is decent ducting. 4 vent cover clamped to the ducting for intake airflow in a 2x3 tent, and ducting out of the top attached to an exhaust fan keeps just enough negative pressure for my plants.Any bigger tent will need the 6

Works great no air leaking, it was very tight fit for my 1950's dryer vent that is cemented in the foundation. Look way nicer then the old aluminum one and seems to be better insulated. Overall would definitely recommend.

Strength is good because of the extra covering of the aluminum hose which is the major plus. Difficult to install over the 4 inch dryer opening so you really have to be patient and work slowly to install it without tearing. So far so good.

It is nice to have for portable air conditioner. Only wish it came in longer sections. Good product though

If you want to keep smell down and keep the air insulated inside then these are the way to go.
