It's Mountain House. In the description, and in the features, it clearly states in simple English that there are 12 pouches which contain 24 meals.Let me break it down even further. In caps.EACH POUCH CONTAINS 2 MEALS YO.It's slightly sad yet hilarious when people give a bad review because they didn't receive 24 pouches or say it's somehow misleading that they didn't understand what they were buying.Did you even look at the pictures?Great emergency food. Plan ahead to have water.Did I mention there are 24 meals in only 12 pouches?

Sometimes, when we camp, we like to travel light. These come in handy when we are trying to keep our packing to a minimum. Mountain House is our favorite, for consistently providing good food in a variety of flavors. Just heat some water, grab a long spoon, and dig in. Clean up is simple, nothing to it. I've noticed that recently their foods have fewer artificial ingredients and preservatives than before, and I haven't noticed a taste difference. Way to go in making a good product even better!!

OutstandingHere in Houston with no power and no water we lived on the adventure bucket for 3 days.We had a stored water supply and loved how little water it takes to feed 2 people.

The flavor of the meals was really good. More importantly the texture was amazingly accurate. I had to use these during a winter storm extended power outage using charcoal to heat the water. I couldn't get a full boil, but doubling the time with warm water still produced a delicious result.Having a reliable food source in a time of emergency is well worth the price. Having a reliable food source that tastes good, is convenient, and easy brings a source of comfort that worth more in value than the price. This is a must have for camping or a basic level of household preparedness.

This is the problem I have discover with these, one bag is 2 portions, so you have 12 meats not 24 if you are alone. That's the only problem I have seen with the product. The taste of most of them are quite good.

There's a good assortment of flavors and they have a shelf life of 30 years! The good till date is marked on each package. Pretty good tasting for freeze dried food, especially in cold weather. Very easy to prepare. Just add boiling water. Eat it right out of the pouch. No dirty dishes to clean. They're very light weight, great for backpacking. They claim 24 servings, but keep in mind that there are only 12 pouches. Each pouch is 2 servings. I eat the entire pouch. Half a pouch is just not enough food. I didn't check for sure, but there seems to be 2 pouches of each flavor, giving you 6 flavors in all. I've been using mountain house meals for many years and will continue to do so.
