Durable but lack comfort. I'll go for a single strap next time, the double straps rub/slide throughout the day. Also no side walls, tend to fall when shimmying around on them, that's my own lack of knowledge when purchasing though.

These are way better than the foam padded generic type. Nothing gets through to stab at your knees. My only complaint is that they tend to slip sideways a bit when installed over a pair of work jeans.

The pads are replacing the same ones that I've used for years. Their only drawback is the elastic bands tend to bunch up behind the knees.

I bought these before a big landscape project. Laid down over 2000 Sq ft of landscape fabric, as well as brickwork. The ONLY issue I had with these pad is the elastic steps started to fray and stretch. So they lost some of their elasticity. They worked still, but I had to pull on them now and again to bring them back into place. Not a deal breaker, but a pain to deal with.Would I buy again? I would, I really put them to the test with this project. So, for the average guy doing stuff around the house, these should be good to go.

Like the strength and stability and padding but the straps leave me with welts when I use them all day

It was definitely better to have these for removing old carpet and putting down new vinyl plank flooring than it would have been just doing the job on my knees. If they just stayed in place better, they'd be 5 stars. They tend to roll around the sides of your knees, so I was regularly adjusting them. But like I said, it was definitely better to have them than not. These seem to be in a medium price point. Maybe some models costing twice as much would stay in place better. I don't know. But I am sure these will last way longer than the super-cheap (but still decently effective) all-foam types.

Work well but I am 6-6, 280 and the pads are tight on the sides of the knees and became uncomfortable after extend periods on your knees.

This item is as strong and very reliable and dependable (to make sure your knees do not get crushed). However the straps will quickly become wrinkled up and after awhile it's not a comfortable thing to wear. But it gets the job done.

I have been using this knee pads for since 2018 (4 years) on a regular bases for home projects and car washes. They are durable knee pads and protects my knee. After 4 years of use, the soft gel core has shifted below my knees so there is less of protection and I feel more of the hard plastic of the outer shell. It's part of wear and tear.My only compliant is that they tend to slip downward overtime and have to pull one or both up before bending down. The new design with strap on the thigh and below the knee might circumvent this problem.
