Fun game to play with friends. Did not like the fact that I can lose all my house points in two rounds :( Can't even play like that. Maybe the rule book needs to change a bit.

This is a fun variation of original Clue, but my family members have some complaints about the design. Mainly, the text on the board has very poor contrast and is unnecessarily hard to read. Adds some complexities that are hard to figure out at first, but ultimately make the game more interesting than the original version.

This was a Christmas gift for my children who had never heard of Clue before (made me feel old). They have had a great time playing the game although the directions are a little confusing at times figuring out how to travel from room to room.

Wonderful spin off on traditional Clue, but whew is it pricey! My grandson requested this version, and he's very happy with it.

This was a lot of fun -- takes some time to get used to how the rooms change - which doors are open and closed and which rooms you can hop to. There are also extra decks of magical cards, and it is taking some time to learn how to use them strategically. But overall, we are enjoying it.

Great family game and we had a lot of fun playing, but it took us a while to set it up and understand how to play.

Think Clue meets Dungeons and Dragons. There are spells, potions, and moving passages...once you get the hang of the game it is fun.

Set up is a bit of a pain and the game is a little over-complicated from original Clue. Once you get set up, though, it's pretty fun. I'd give it more stars, but I do prefer a simpler game for family game night. Our 6 year old can't really play along with us. I know it's geared at ages 9 and I bought it for our 9 year old daughter, but it would be nice if there was a way to simplify for the younger kids.

I thought we were buying just a Harry Potter version of an already awesome game, but this goes way beyond a simple game of Clue. All the extras do give it a fun Harry Potter twist...unless you lose your house points and don't get to play the game anymore. I really can't understand games that do things like that. Give them a penalty or something, but don't make it so that they can't play and everyone else gets to keep playing without you. Not fun. So we changed that part. Otherwise, it is a lot of fun, just not what I was expecting. I think you could probably play a regular game of clue without all the additions if you wanted to. We haven't tried that.
