These rings worked as advertised for baking Kransekake layers. No sticking (as long as you are careful about keeping the dough diameter to pencil thickness, any bigger and the rings stick to each other). My comment is aimed more at those who think making a Kransekake is as easy as it looks on Food Network. It is a time consuming NIGHTMARE, and when we did succeed in creating a finished product, it was a horrific tower of gummy, chewy dough unattractively held together by globs of frosting. So large that we ate maybe 1/3 (it didn't taste bad) before the rest turned into a soggy spongy mess (the life expectancy of the cake appears to be 24 hours). If you want to try your hand at Kransekake, these rings will work. But they won't make you a competent baker, based on my experience. Better yet, if you can find me I know of a good ring set that was only used once.
