Hi quality and very versatile. Couscous is basically just pasta so it is very versatile. Recommend toasting dry uncooked Couscous in a lightly oiled saute pan for about 3-5 minutes on medium heat just starting to brown and then boiling. Adds a wonderful depth of flavor but watch it carefully as it can go from toasting to burnt rapidly. I usually mix the cooked Couscous with balsamic vinegar, oil, lemon juice, smoked paprika, feta, salt, pepper and cucumber as well as arugula

I have only been able to find this type of Couscous at Trader Joe's.Which isn't always easy for me to get too. Ordering online is much easier!!

I go through a lot of this stuff, fixing it as a dish unto itself and also a part of more complex dishes.As a base, I generally toast this first in some olive oil, add the water [1.25 cups per cup of couscous], add about 1 teaspoon of chicken or beef base, garlic powder, dried onion, and green onion, let it boil for about 7 minutes and then shut it off and let it finish absorbing the water for about another 15 minutes. This way, there is no risk of burning or sticking to the pan. Stir and it's ready to serve or to add to something else. This is a great replacement for rice. Toasting it first gives a nice nuttiness and more bite than just boiling it without toasting it.Nutritionally, this is much better than white rice with about 6 grams of protein per cooked cup and 2 grams of fiber.

Maybe it's just the way wheat is grown in Israel vs where I live, but eating this product immediately makes me feel healthier/relaxed/stronger. Glad we can buy imported couscous online that tastes fresh enough. Ordered a second pack and am enjoying that one.

I have ordered this several times. Any time I and about to run out I order more. I can't find it from our local stores. This cooks so well and is so good . We add just a little seasoning. Everyone in the house loves it.
