It is very cute but impossible to pour from without making a mess.It would work with a small look ladle but it is not well designed.

These are a beautiful addition to your everyday or holiday set. They are double the size of an average salt and pepper shaker. They are beautifully designed, well crafted and durable. I love these, no regrets! I love the dishes, silverware, canisters, sugar bowl and these salt and pepper shakers. I bought them with the intent of using them everyday and with my holiday set.

I replaced my chipped platter to match the my French Perle dishes. It's gorgeous and can't wait to use it at Thanksgiving. Although, I intend to use it for other occasions.

This set is a bit larger than I expected, even though I was aware of the size when ordering. The design is very complementary to the Food Network Fontinella casual china and serving pieces we use. The salt and pepper set to match my discontinued Fontinella china pattern would have cost 3x this price, so I'm glad I used this Lenox design. The rubber gaskets for the bottoms of the pieces are secure. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Absolutely beautiful platter used for our Thanksgiving dinner. It fit a 16lb turkey and could easily work for smaller meats and dishes. Quality is incredible and it's honestly just so pretty. Love that is microwave and dishwasher safe as well. Came packaged very safely and securely. Definitely recommend!
