This is a beautiful little bell. It has a lovely chime, and is well-made. I would expect nothing less from a silversmith as storied as Reed Barton.The engraving is beautiful, and the weight is good. This is a beautiful and traditional ornament that belongs on a beautiful tree, and I am so happy to have been able to evaluate this one. Just lovely!

I have the engraved version. On the one hand, it seems questionable to commemorate Christmas 2020. But on the other hand, decorating well seems so much more important this year.This bell is sterling silver (why does the listing say 'metallic'???), which is stamped on the inside of the bell. It's relatively thin, so it's not too heavy, and can be hung on the tree. And it has a pleasant peal when you ring it.Definitely packaged for giving, in a red velvet box that in turn has a red velvet drawstring bag, and inside that, the lovely bell is protected with anti-tarnish paper. Also comes with a red ribbon for hanging.

This is a cute little Christmas bell that looks nice on my mini Christmas tree. I have a 2015 bell and thought it was time to get a new one. The bell has a little ribbon attached so you can hang it up wherever.

This one is engraved on the outside with the year, snowflake and Christmas. The ornament is made of sterling silver, hence the price. You can get one that isn't sterling and it is a much lower price. This one, it is quality and comes packed in a velvet bag within a velvet box. The box also shows the picture on the outside for easy location of the ornaments you want to hang. That is really a help, because I have a lot of ornaments. This will be easy to put away too with the packaging it is in.
