This is easy to use and quickly smooths out the nicks burrs on the hose bibs making it so much easier to hook up the hoses. They don't leak now, either. Heavy duty, good quality - wish we had this years ago.

No adjustment needed, did the job I wanted it for. Give it a light coating of grease and it'll probably last just fine.

I made some custom NGH nipples for drip irrigation pressure regulators. Used this for the first one, no trouble. Then just threaded the rest on my metal lathe for a tighter fit. I suppose I could have adjusted the die, but I have a nice tool maker's lathe so why bother.

Bought this to fix my brass outdoor faucets that were not getting a good seal and spraying water everywhere when a hose was attached because of corrosion. Was a little worried when I was using it that the die was spinning around the existing threading too loosely, but when I took it off and put the hose back on the seal was great and there was no water leakage at the connection. Took all of 5 minutes to fix both faucets, and a healthy amount of that was disconnecting and reattaching the hoses.

I accidentally damaged the threads on the garden faucet. After I got this die, I could quickly rethread the faucet and the garden faucet does not need to be replaced.
