Never used stuff like this before. Works great w/o the gel shine. If you're new to a product like ths as I was; Work it into your hands until there are no more white clumps....otherwise thoes clumps will end up in you hair lol.

My go to hair product, love the texture, scent and hold! Doesn't flake and washes out nicely. Not the cheapest option, but much better quality than the cheap stuff.

I used their Get Groomed styling cream for a decade until they recently discontinued. I skeptically ordered the Pomade and was surprised at how much more I liked how it performs once I figured out how to use it. A dime size swipe spread between dry hands then I'll run one hand under a trickle of water and rub into a light paste. Then running my hands up through my mostly dry hair gives me a natural start to the hair as opposed to the cream I'm used to using that would go on wet. This product has enough hold to let me style, adds a little body to my unfortunately thinning hair, but does not appear over done. It doesn't take much - I'm on month nine of this tin, about to order a backup but probably have another month left in it.

My husband loves this and has used this for years. It helps to style his hair very well. Light, it doesn't take alot to make this go a long way. It lasts for months and he uses it everyday.

I first used Redkin's clay based Pomade for a great hold with a matte look. I tried this version because the other was not available. This is creamier, but gives a good hold, has a great smell and also doesn't give a shiny finish. This product does not give a hard stiff hold, but a good soft hold for combed hair.

So while rewind and that product line was re-branded by Redken, a shortage was created. In an act of personal desperation, I ordered the Redken brews pomade -my hair is getting long it’s about a foot long - and I find that the Redken brews is superior for long hair. now I think I’m going to start buying Redken brews instead of rewind. Hope they don’t jack the price - but you know they probably will!
