Great bucket but I had some problems attaching the lid

These lids although a great price for gasketed lids that looked fine, were very problematic getting onto my 5 gallon bucket I got locally. My husband actually had to end up standing on the bucket with it upside down. and he was not a happy!!! I now wonder if they would expand and flex up if placed in hot water. As is, he has forbade me from buying any lid except a gamma lid in the future. If they fit easily I would have given them a 5 star.
