Being near water, we usually start the day with cool mist or fog, which normally burns off around noon, and gives way to sometimes much higher temps later. My daughter usually runs warm, and this jacket is cool and lightweight, but still protects her from the cool, early morning weather.The cut and size are nice, as expected. It looks to be well made and is a good value.One of the best things is that she can wear this and take it off anytime, and still stay within her school's uniform dress code requirements.
