The threads on this are cut somewhat loose and could be a much better product if they took a bit more care when cutting threads. Good product overall and good price for what I got.

I use them on an anchor chain for a small boat. Well made shackles, but they are under size if that makes a difference to you. They check out at .23 inches not .25. To me it means they fit through the hole in the 1 kg Yak anchor without drilling the hole larger.
