My mom tried for years to find hearing aids that allowed her to be part of a conversation. Having a cord attached isn't the most ideal, but at the end of her life, we were able to converse without shouting with those pocket talker. Highly recommend.

My mom, who is almost 93 has been having hearing issues for years. The last 6 months or so has been getting worse. This product has done wonders. I use the extension for the tv and she can now hear it. We don't get blared out by having to have the TV so loud also. We put microphone in the middle of our weekly get together and now instead of us having to yell or her just sitting back and bring in her little world she is right in the conversation. We are so thankful for this. Only thing is we have to adjust the controls for her because it's too difficult. But that's nothing compared to having my mom back! Highly recommend.

Bought this for my husband who has profound hearing loss. It greatly improves his hearing and understanding. He is in hospital now and can understand Docs and nurses better. This one is much improved over the original one we got for him 2 years ago. Thanks Williams. Recommend this to all I know.

We do not have to yell at our 99 year old friend for her to hear us. She is so happy to hear our voices again. We are so happy we don't have to yell anymore. This product is amazing!!! I recommend that the you keep the microphone away from the headphones. If you put them too close together, you'll get a ringing sound.

My dad is very deaf but keeps losing hearing aids. This works very well, and I have ordered three...one for the nurse med-cart, one to stay in his room and one for me to bring when I visit. Only recommendation is to have some padding on the headband. I had to order some separately.

The Pocketalker is a simple solution for a very old person who watches TV a lot. I get more understandable sound than my $5000 hearing aids. I set the TV sound to a low level and Pocketalker converts it to the tone and level needed for me.From a 90 years old,

I bought this for my father-in-law, who has been struggling unsuccessfully with hearing aids for years. The PockeTalker is certainly not a substitute for a properly fitted aid, but in the hospital and rehab, it's made all the difference in being able to communicate with caregivers. If you're on the fence, unsure if all these glowing reviews are for real, take the leap, you won't regret it.

This company stands behind it's products and offers superb customer service. We encountered an issue with a PockeTalker and they replaced the entire item no questions asked. I will buy from them again and again. I highly recommend this company and its products.

I completely lost hearing in both ears due to bronchitisIt was a godsend when my ENT recommended I use the pocket Talker till my hearing is restored. It gave me my life back

I just got it so I have only used it around the house, but I am very pleased so far. I am on vacation so haven't used it in the classroom yet, but I have high hopes that this will solve my hearing problem at school. So easy to set up and use. The only thing I don't like is the little silly looking mic, but if it works, I don't care how silly it looks. I may update this review next week.

We got this for my Mom who is extremely hard of hearing and refuses to wear hearing aids. Easy to adjust for fit and volume. Having a conversation with her is so much easier now. It also gave her a chance to hear an Andrea Bocelli playlist that we both love. Definitely recommend this for anyone that is having problems hearing.

I am very happy with this product. I used something similar to this years ago working in rehab My father is very hard of hearing and won't use hearing aids. He can hear everything with this. We use the extended cord with the mic near the sound bar of the tv when he is watching a movie, and it works great. One day, it was not working. I realize that he had plugged the mic cord into the head set receptacle, which is easy to do the the older people with some cognitive deficits. Once I plugged everything in correctly it worked like a charm again. Some other reviewers complained that this was cheap plastic, but it needs to be light weight to hang around the neck or clip to a belt. I can buy 20 of these and it would still be cheaper and more effective than his useless pair of $3600.00 hearing aids

My father is extremely hard of hearing and has resisted being fitted for a hearing aid. We've tried numerous other products to help but none of them make a difference and end up being thrown out soon after being bought. This amplifier is awesome. He can hear us clearly from clear across the room without us shouting . Seems to work best if you put the bass level to the lower levels - speech is more clear without feedback noise and less static when the device moves around. Highly recommended

I bought it for my 99 year old Father, whose hearing aids no longer work for him. He is able to hear me clearly for the first time in a year or two. A church member borrowed it to try on a 92 year old friend, who liked it so well, they ordered her one.
