Decided to upgrade my el-cheapo kwiksets with these at a new place. Also put in some door armor strike plates after some mortising, the works etc. These dropped right in just fine. Make sure to be patient in assembling them to ensure the core is lined up with how the key vs latch works. Do not overthink this. Just play with it fully assembled for like 5 min BEFORE you install. Okay, anyways... the locksmith kept asking me prying questions in face of this level of security: what do you do for a living, how many bodies are you hiding? Are the ABC boys coming? You aren't gonna ask us for a lockout service later are you? We're coming through the window bud, Etc. I told him if it takes LockPickingLawyer >2 min then it's a good lock. He got the reference. Then said in all his career, he's never seen anyone buy such a thing for a house - it's just that much overkill per him. I guess i live in a very nice area. Needless to say, no one is (realistically) going to attempt to bump this. Unless they're ABC boys. In which case - wait nvm, opsec. Anyways, the tl;dr is, if you have this, or even the Junior MulTLock, basically you are good to go. Also, when you step back and look at the keyhole - yeah it's pretty intimidating. Make sure to spray some silicon or ASSA lube in the keyway annually if you live in extreme temps. Do NOT use WD40!
