Unfortunately, once the zerk is connected it is a real bear to get the grease fitting to disconnect. Especially so when it is in a tight space. Otherwise it works as advertised.

I like this tool for the most part. I find it to be a useful addition to my small assortment of grease gun attachments because it allows me to reach some of the more awkwardly-placed grease fittings on my compact tractor and mower deck. Despite being made in China, I find it to be nicely built and it has a good, solid heft to it when held it in my hand. I like that the 180-degree swivel portion is slightly tight, yet still rotates smoothly, instead of being way too loose or floppy.One particular issue I have with it, though, is that the coupler portion, which actually connects to the grease fitting, is the cheaper 3-jaw type instead of the better and more robust 4-jaw type. While this doesn't necessarily detract from the overall usefulness of this tool, it does seem to reflect an attempt by the manufacturer to cut production costs where most consumers are unlikely to notice. To that end, I simply replaced this tool’s 3-jaw coupler with the LubriMatic 05-031 Standard Duty Grease Coupler that is exactly identical to the 3-jaw coupler except for it being a better 4-jaw coupler. In my opinion, this tool should have come standard with that 4-jaw coupler and it’s a bit irksome that I had to spend additional money to make that “upgrade” myself.All in all, however, I really like this tool and am glad I purchased it.One final pointer here for those who find themselves thinking that this tool must be defective because it won’t seem to release from a grease fitting. The coupler is SUPPOSED to stay on the grease fitting tightly whenever you pump grease into it. If the coupler gets stuck whenever you go to remove it from the grease fitting, it's because the coupler itself is screwed too tightly together on this tool to begin with. All grease gun end couplers have a threaded TWO-PIECE body that is supposed to be left a little loose so that the coupler can snap onto the grease fitting and then hold onto it tightly when pumping grease through it. If you find that you cannot release the coupler from the fitting, simply unscrew the two halves of the end coupler until you have relieved enough pressure on the 3 internal ramp ears (i.e., jaws) of this coupler to easily disconnect it from the grease fitting.
