These practice balls have held up to a lot of hitting. They are good quality but lack the sponginess that Jugs sting free balls provide. This may be a benefit as the hit closer to a softball. However neither these nor jugs feel that much like hitting a softball. What I prefer about the Jugs sting free balls is the feedback a hitter feels when crushing a pitch, they bounce off a bat. These ball spin off a bat and sometimes rob the hitter of the feedback a truly well hit ball provides.
