Bought this as the subwoofer for an older electronic large organ at church. Worked extremely well and good range of voices from pedal especially. Worked without an amp even though the older organ has relatively lower watts output. Great price.

I use an Acoustic B410mkII cabinet and it packs a huge punch. One of the speakers blew out and so it would create this distorted rattle, and it was so embarrassing... I replaced that blown speaker with the Eminence, and I haven't had any problems. In fact, after replacing it, I took it to a gig a couple weeks ago (my gigs usually last 4 hours) and I had no problems whatsoever. It was nice to have that bottom end with no distortion or crackling. I highly recommend these speakers to other musicians!

Great choice for bass keys, PA and even guitar. A real bargain that works and sounds better than many more expensive speakers. I've also used the 1534; size several times with very good results.

Eminence is a solid company, and I've used many of their speakers for my cabinets. Great low end and crisp mids. I've used these in non ported cabs and they sound really tight and rich. Great for slap bass. In a ported cab you really open up the volume to that low end that makes the bass shake the walls. Never had any problems with these speakers going out, just be smart and leave yourself head room on your amp. Don't put a 500 amp head on a 100w. Speaker and expect it to perform with the amp gain at 100 Final take away, looking for a great replacement speaker or a new speaker for a custom bass guitar/pa box, this is the one.

replaced a 1234; celestion in my crate power block cabinet, got instant punch and lows that a guitar speaker cannot get, still have plenty of sizzle for highs, excellant value
