Heard about Dandy blend from several homesteading bloggers. It's a really delicious coffee alternative because it does taste coffee-ish, BUT without the caffeine that keeps me up all night. PLUS the health benefits of dandelion. I use 1 level teaspoon for a coffee mug with stevia and half and half and I love it!

I LOVED coffee, but as I got older, it gave me crushing headaches. Dandy is my lifesaving substitute. It's so good, either hot or iced. You can make it as strong as you want - I like a rich flavor - AND it doesn't even stain my teeth! I'm a lifer. Thanks for making this stuff.

I love the product. I've been drinking black coffee for 45 years. Cant do it anymore for health reasons. Does this taste like coffee. No. But this is the closest I've gotten. Because of the lack of caffeine, my first cup has organic honey and cinnamon in it for that boost. But I am enjoying my morning brew very much.

Product tastes great. It blends well with hot water. I have heart problems and dandelion is very heart healthy . I had to give up coffee and this is a nice replacement. Does not taste like coffee but still a good substitute.

This is a good coffee substitute. It has a smooth flavor, and dissolves well. The up to 156 cups claim I feel is a tad misleading, as this is for the tea level use as opposed to the coffee level use.

I wish I was able to drink this but it made me feel awful. I have celiac disease and reacted to this the same way I do to gluten - it caused my DH rash to flair up badly and caused upset stomach. I'm not saying it has gluten, but I'm not aware that I have any other food allergies or sensitivities. I tried this twice, a couple of weeks apart, and had the same reaction both times.I wish I could drink it. It is a delicious, easy, healthy hot drink. It tastes great without having to add sugar, and no caffeine. I like that it is organic, too. Oh, well.I took off one star because of my bad reaction to it.

This is pretty decent! I am a die-hard coffee lover and did not expect to be impressed at all. I simply cannot switch to tea because it just doesn't have the right body and mouth-feel. I started right off with a heaping teaspoon and was surprised to see the foamy froth on the top. I added a dash of creamer and a small amount of honey, and honestly, it didn't necessarily taste just like coffee, but it tasted good! And full-bodied! Much more satisfying for a coffee lover than teas. And Teccino and others don't hold a candle to a true coffee taste. I'm going to stick with it.

No. It does NOT taste like coffee for those who have been asking. But ... I like it because it has more body than tea. It tastes very similar to the old Postum and other such competitors ... but I have noticed that Dandy Blend does NOT give me the heartburn like Postum and the other wheat based products do ... On the whole I like it ... but ... no ... it doesn't taste like coffee so don't expect it to! : )

I said goodbye to coffee the east way and haven't turned back. I started to drink this after switching to decaf to get off the coffee kick. It worked and I fell in love. Add a little flavored creamer for a nice treat drink or drink like coffee. Makes a nice treat for little ones too and it's pretty healthy!Yum! Definitely a great find and anyone I recommend it to loves it just the same!

I really like Dandy blend as a coffee alternative but I like my coffee strong which requires 2 heaping teaspoons. That means that I do not get 50 cups... I get maybe 25 and honestly I question that as well. This is a small bag and of course isn't full like most packaged powders these days. I just wanted to share that so potential buyers understand his much they will be getting. Other than that this product is fantastic.

This is a pretty good coffee substitute. You need a good heaping tsp to get that strong flavor but it's great when I just need that cup in the morning.Cons: sticks to spoon mug even after stirring.

I can prepare this like tea or like coffee and it's good. I'm not certain how “real” it is with how it dissolves I'm wondering about how processed it is and what health values it actually holds or doesn't. But as far as how I feel when drinking it is good. I have to take breaks from coffee cause it is too acidic and rough on my tummy, this is very gentle so I like that aspect greatly

My son doesn't take in caffeine and Dandy Blend was his substitute for coffee. He has one bag at home and one at work. He lives it, so I thought I'd try it. I must say,but is very good. Tastes like coffee! Fresh and dissolves with no clumps. It is very smooth no acidic taste like coffee has. Another plus, Dandelion has many benefits. I will continue to buy it!!

It's expensive, but so delicious! It's a non-acid and caffeine free beverage that I can replace that morning coffee with. I actually find it more satisfying than coffee!

I'm trying to get away from caffeine so I use this and it's a great substitute for me. It doesn't taste that much like coffee IMO but with a little coconut milk makes it a decent sub. And is way more affordable than the mushroom alternatives on the market.I gave it one less star for the price since it is a bit pricey but it has lasted me a long time. The bag zipper also has a hard time closing all the way so the freshness doesn't keep if not closed every time.

I made the mistake of assuming that this product only contained bits and pieces of the dandelion plant. Turns out it's third on the list and number one and number two ingredients are barley and rye, both of which contain gluten. Personally, I can tolerate some gluten but I am highly sensitive to barely.
