This product is an absolute lifesaver! It is well worth its cost. I recently purchased a used truck that had an unpleasant odor reminiscent of a wet dog. Despite vacuuming and applying a deodorant spray, the smell persisted. I then utilized Auto Shocker, following the simple manufacturer’s instruction and like magic the smell was eliminated over night! This was way cheaper than detailing the car! Thank you Auto Shocker!

I purchased this for the car inherited from my mom that has mold in it. It seems to have worked, but also left a chemical smell behind.

Hi had a very bad odor in my car due to a package of meat that fell out of a bag and rolled under my seat. I did not drive my car again until 3 days later. It stunk. I tried Febreeze first and it kind of masked the order a bit but it was still lingering in the car, I used the Auto Shocker product and now my car smells fresh. Thank you.

I would recommend this product! I would say it removed 90 of the smoke smell from our used vehicle. One tip - DO NOT add the water to the product until you are OUT of your house. It activates immediately and is very strong!

I had a horrible odor from lemonade that leaked in my trunk. I had my car detailed to no avail. I replaced a section in my trunk at a little over $300 but to no avail. So I tried this and for the most part it worked. There's a very faint scent lingering so I've bought another to hopefully get that little bit gone. I would highly recommend you try this. I gave it 4-stars because of the lingering faint smell. After I do the next one and the smell is completely gone I'll revise my review.

I was a smoker quit but I wanted to get rid of the smell, after using this I was afraid it might do harm to the interior of the car It didn't. It got rid of the smell altogether thank heavens.

leave this vehicle running with AC or HEAT, FULL BLAST, top vents selected, for at least 30 minutes. After 30 minutes turn off vehicle, and leave vehicle closed up for as long as possible.. 12-24 hours.. Do this after sunset if outdoors, and possibly a warm dry climate, because you need to ventilate vehicle for several hours to a full day..

Some critter crawled up inside my car and died somewhere I could not find or get to. The dead animal smell gradually decreased over a year or so, but was still there, so I bombed it with this shocker. Dead animal smell gone (Yes!), but replaced with a chlorine smell (Oh no!). Did this on the last 50 degree day in MN and aired it out all day for a couple of days afterward in the 40s. The smell has gradually diminished but is till quite noticeable. I hope when it gets warm again in spring that it will dissipate entirely.

Our truck was stolen. After recovery it reaked of smoke. We followed the instructions and left it in over night.Maybe just 4 hours would have been enough. It took a month for the chemical smell to subside enough my wife wouldn't complain about it.No smoke smell though so I guess that's a win. I would buy again if needed but probably do a lighter treatment

Used this to help get rid of old fish smell from a package of fish that leaked on the carpet. The liquid from the fish sat overnight and the sat in the sun the next day. My husband tried odor eliminator spays and a car wash detail and lots of air fresheners that just created a stinky headache producing mess. We were going on a road trip so I used this overnight and it did a pretty good job of getting rid of the smell and probably an accumulation of other smells too. My husband made a comment about how nice it was to finally have a clean smelling car. I was thrilled to get rid of the stinky air fresheners which I think are sometimes worse than the odor you are trying to cover up. Will purchase again if needed.

Overall, the after affect was good. However, no where on the container or data sheet does it warn you about the exploding factor. I was lucky in that i did set it in a 13 x 9 in pan - but it still exploded everywhere which took some time to clean up. When i was done with the cleanup - I was happy with the overall results.I will buy it again, but will have a screen container to contain the mess. DO NOT be anywhere near the container 10 seconds after you add the water

It did a pretty good job of taking care of the cigarette smoke smell that was in a car i recently purchased. I may do a 2nd one to see if it completely kills it, but after the ammonia smell wears off (a couple weeks), then throw in some scent that you do like, and you'll likely be happy too.....and you saved a bunch of money over a professional detailer.

Used this in my car that has been in storage for a couple years. It had mouse smell and a smell from being closed up. This might have slightly reduced the smell but definitely did not take it away. Will try a second round to see if it helps more than the first.

I just bought a 1987 car with lots of orders. Cigarette smoke was really bad. I left the product in the car for 24 hours. It did not explode as some reviews said. Must say, those reviews had me a little nervous. I followed the instructions, used cool water and left the car in the garage on a cool day, around 70. The smell is still there but I would say it’s 90 better than it was. Taking the age of the car into consideration, I think the product worked very well. It does not smell like a swimming pool. I left the windows open for several hours before taking the car out of the garage.
