This worked really well. I had vehicle with leather seats that had been smoked in for years and I left this in the vehicle for about 20 hours and the smoke smell was gone. It didn't come out of the actual fabric if you put your nose up to it, but you can't tell there was a smoker in it just by sitting it in.

Bought a 2 year old vehicle that smelled like heavy cleaner from detailing. When that wore off, you could tell they were masking a smoker having owned before. Needed to do 2 shock treatments about 1 month apart, but got rid of the smell. Important to recirculate air after using, before opening windows. Saved me from selling the car.

Left my windows open during a torrential downpour and soaked my truck. Tried baking soda, and other products to remove the strong mildew smell, with no luck until this little gem was unleashed. It's powerful. Be cautious and do not inhale the vapors when mixing the water and powder. Left overnight (efficacy reduced by sunlight according to the instructions) and crossed my fingers. The next morning the mildew odor was gone, replaced by a strong, but not overpowering chlorine smell that persisted for about three weeks. Bottom line, this product works, just read and follow all the instructions.

This is a great product. This type of chlorine bombs are used by car lots to eliminate smoke other odors, but I read they also help get rid of spiders because they hate the smell. So I actually bought it to get rid of a spider that made a home in my husband's car. He's a baby wanted to set the whole car on fire... instead, I figured it was cheaper safer to try this first. It's really easy to use worked like a charm. No more spider, and it had the effect of clearing all the different smoke smells my hubby has built up in the car. Now we don't have to buy a new car AND I don't have to worry about them searching him if he's ever pulled over. So if you want your car spider-free, are a non-smoker that bought a used car, or simply don't want your car smelling like it's 4/20 all the time, this is for you

After reading the reviews I've decided to go with this product.. it absolutely worked great and no issues with my leather interior. It does have a strong lingering chlorine smell that lasted a couple of weeks but the odor is totally eliminated going on a few months now. Will buy again if needed

I needed to rid my car of gasoline fumes that had been contaminating my car for over two weeks. I used this very easy-to-use product a week ago. Over a 14-hour period, I let it do its work. Afterward, the gasoline odor was completely gone. In its place was a rather strong scent that was far more appealing than the gasoline smell, but still strong. No problem, after driving the car around with the windows open, that too was, for the most part, gone. I highly recommend for odors that you just can get rid of.

I purchased this product because paint thinner had spilled in my car and the smell was toxic and would not go away after a full car detail. I thought I was going to need to sell the car until I used the Auto Shocker. I followed the directions and left the product in my car for about 12 hours. It completely elimated the odor. There is a clean residual smell from the product but I don't mind it since it's a clean smell and not a toxic smell. Thanks Auto Shocker. You saved me $40,000!

Nothing I do works to eliminate all odors, but this one does. It smells like really strong bleachy smell afterwards, but it is so much better than a stale cigarette smoke. Really works!

I'd left my sunroof open overnight and then all day in a teeming rain and came out to literally puddles in the seats. Then begins the lingering smell of mold. Tried baking soda sitting for a week. Vacuumed, shampooed. Left the doors wide open on sunny, windy days. Nothing worked. Until this product. I don't write a whole lot of reviews but this was such a simple solution! Directions are clear, almost foolproof. I started it at 6pm and by 8am the mold smell was gone. Not covered up. Gone.

I brought this product for my sister. She had bought a car that had cigarette smell had not had good luck getting out the smell. She finally used the product this past Sunday. She said that it worked great so far. She is very pleased with the results. The item as also priced well. Also, the video you had posted was good testimony to me even buying the product for her.

Bought an older Subaru Forester that smelled putrid. No amount of surface and fabric cleaning helped. Started removing trim panels and opened the ventilation system (removed filthy cabin air filter) to find extensive mouse (?) habitat and excrement. Exposure made it almost impossible to sit in the car, and I figured I would have to get rid of the car entirely. Discovered Auto Shocker, and applied it last night, after exposing and wiping/scraping/vacuuming as much of the funk as possible. This morning, the car smells 100 better. I expect the not-too-offensive chemical scent will dissipate, and a pine tree or two will finish the job. Keeping the car, thanks to Auto Shocker.

These things work wonders. My husband uses them whenever he buys a new project vehicle. It's got rid of cigarette smoke smell, pet smells, mold smells. He loves these things. Would highly recommend. People complain about the smell it leaves. In my opinion, it's just a very clean smell. After he uses them, he airs the car out, puts in his favorite air freshener and done!!

Bought a pickup truck that stunk so bad of cigarette smoke that the previous owner should never be allowed to sit inside another vehicle. Yellow nicotine was everywhere. This product took out the smell. I told a friend about the smell after I used this. She said she smelled nothing but new car. Yeah, it works. But it.

I got a used Lexus and it had a funky smell. I am very sensitive to odors and to chemicals that try to cover them up like air fresheners. I tried to use essential oils in the car, but that did not put a dent in the strange smell. I was hesitant to buy this bc of the explosions others posted but they send you a little plastic cup to measure the water you add in. No explosion and 24 hours later I had a like-new smell in the car. I would say the left over odor is similar to when you are in a hotel with a pool and you walk down the hall on your way to the pool and you can start to smell the chlorine. It's like that. Very light and not at all unpleasant. I am VERY happy with the product and I recommend it.
