I purchased when using Mayo or Peanut Butter for measurements. It does do a cleaner job. Plunger will move while filling. If filling 3/4 Cup you will have to spoon in a little at a time to fill gaps then hold the 3/4 Cup mark while filling. After you get used to it its actually a really good product.

This measuring device works great for dispensing things like honey, peanut butter, mayonnaise, etc. - things that are hard to get out of a regular measuring cup. The only downside is you need to wash the middle part by hand. It is all one piece - the bottom is closed - so it is hollow inside. When I washed it in the dishwasher it retained water on the inside (not sealed air tight). It isn't a deal breaker but something to keep in mind.

I'm familiar with the pampered chef of this measuring device so I was a little puzzled at first. Love it now though!Editing my answer a few months after using. I'm definitely not at all fond of this measuring cup thing at all. It's impossible for me to make straight measurements. I didn't mind at first but it's been bugging me for awhile now. I ended up switching to the pampered chef version.

This is a great kitchen gadget but it's not suitable for liquids. Used this for heavy cream and filled this and my husband proceeded to grab it from me and it spilled everywhere haha. What a mess! So heed my warning and take precautions if you do use this for liquids. Otherwise, this is a great product.

Saw this measuring cup on a TV cooking show and just had to get one. It makes measuring so easy. Every kitchen should have at least one.

Works very well for measuring gloopy ingredients, as the circular squeegee ensures that all of the gloop comes out easily. Clear markings in several scales, easy to clean, inexplicably fun to use. This is my second, to replace one that cracked when I dropped it on the floor; hopefully this one holds up better.

I use this mostly for sticky liquids so it's easy to get out of the container. I put coconut oil around the plastic so it's very easy to use.
