I ordered this set to replace a set of mismatched measuring cups that are ancient. Other reviews complained that one cup was broken when received, didn't know it would happen to me. The one I needed most, the 2 cup, arrived with a 1 inch long piece of the rim broken off. Sharp edge, not usable. The 1 cup measure was packed into the 2 cup measure with a VERY thin bit of shaped paper for protection between. Now I will have to buy an individual 2 cup measure and be out the difference in cost. NOT RIGHT. 3 stars for prompt delivery.

Bought this set mainly for the 4-cup to use in microwave. It is VERY heavy with liquid contents. And the handle gets too hot. Therefore, unable to use this in the way intended.Some reviewers stated that these measuring cups pour better than the other well-known brand of glass measuring cups, however, that is not the case. These are heavier. These do not pour better.The one advantage of these over other popular brand is the ability to stack them.Edited after several months' use: Like these better now, for their durability stacking. Increased the rating. Good purchase.

I only had to tell them which item was damaged in the mail, but they eventually replaced it. All three measuring cups do the job they were meant to do; and, since they are made of glass, they can be recycled when they break.
