As a female, I'm not as strong as a man, and sometimes screwing in a hole not long enough is difficult; If not impossible. With 6 lenght, I am able to drill as deep as needed, and then screw easily. Makes my life so much easier!!

Normal strength drill bit. It can still snap though if one angles the drill sharply while pulling back out.

I have no idea if these are good value as I don't normally buy extended length drill bits however this drilled 64 holes through the raised ridges of my metal roof and right through the metal reinforcing bars underneath so I could attach solar panel mounting rails using self taping metal screws. The drill bit still probably has around 20-30 operations left on its life. Very pleased with the quality and price - would buy again.

These bits had several bad reviews so I was hesitant to purchase one. But I really needed a 6" bit so I ordered one and it worked very well. I drilled many holes into my steel barn beams before it started to dull. It preformed as well as any quality bits I have purchased locally.

Worked fine for my application. Note, the flutes are relatively short compared to the shaft; so if you need to drill past them you will need to back out frequently to clear the chips.
