Got this at a good deal. Nice to have on hand to watch. I got this as the season was airing. Nice to not have to watch commercials.

We don't skip any showings of Survivor. My grandson loves the show and so do I!!

What a lamecast, but still a great show!

Fun stuff

Okay overall season 39 was good but it is has some things that might get under you skin. Things like racism and sexual harassment. First there is some "racism"....a white guy uses the word "durag" and for some reason an black contestant thinks it is a racist word. When in the whole existence of time has the word durag been racist? When you purchase them at stores the package often says "durage". To me the sad part is that the black contestant was very intelligent, articulate and seemed like a very nice man. He should be way above letting the word "durage" get him upset. In the end the white guy apologized and the two were all good. But it was an issues that should not have been a issue..at least to me. There is another racism moment with another black contestant rips on Jeff Probst for not making a thing out of 2 black contestants winning immunity. Which why would he? race plays no part in winning immunity. Then if that is not enough to get under you skin ..we have a couple of the female contestants accuse another contestant of inappropriate touching. Which the guy was a bit touchy feely. Then the female contests use this in strategy to get another older female contestant to vote with them. Then when it dosen't go as planned they throw the older contestant under the bus. The younger female contestants then say they are very comfortable with the man, and have never felt he did anything inappropriate. This man was accused of inappropriate touching on national TV..something like that could ruin his life. In the end the man was threw out of the game for more inappropriate touching... that happened off camera. The whole thing with the touching just kind of stunk. I felt sorry for the older female contestant ..she was really sticking up for them against a man who is portrayed as a sexual predator by the other women... I'm not for sexual harassment but I'm also not for accusing someone of it if you don't really mean it. If the female contestants really felt that way and the guy was over the line, then I'm all for throwing him out of the game and punching him in the face. But with all that said the season is good and there is a lot of drama ...the idol island twist is pretty cool and made it interesting.

I've seen all of the shows. Love the competitions and the way the show dealt with issues outside of the game protocol.

Great season. We like to buy it when the season is over and then watch it together as a family.
