Use them every single day at work. They last about 10 years. My guys are not very easy on.

Jet is known for quality. They are a little more on the expensive side for sure. Never expect much from a tool designed to be over used. If it says 1/4 ton we always put at least three times that amount on them. Easy to ratchet both directions, latch is durable, hooks are large enough to function, chain doesn't bind up, releases easy, and it's strong. We pull gearboxes into place for chain adjustments frequently. Have not had one fail to date.

love this little guy as a pipe fitter i’m constantly needing to move or square up pipe that is beyond my physical capacity you’d be surprised to see the amount that this thing can move with ease and the best part is you won’t even notice the weight of it in your tool bag.

I bought 2 and they both quit working they go up but won’t go down. They have only been used 4 or 5 times and never been left out in the weather. Don’t pay a premium for junk.

Works really good. Made by Jet right here in the USA so the quality is excellent . It's so small it looks like a toy but its not its the real deal. Love it.

I bought this to use in my basement to reassemble a milling machine and it did a great job! Most of the parts were around 170 - 200 lbs and this hoist had no trouble with any of it. I was surprised how small it is compared to cum-a-longs I have used in the past. It is a really handy size.

Easy to use. Compact. Saves my back from strain of lifting. Cons: has oil / grease on surface of chain so I have to wear gloves to use and stay clean.
