It absorbs very well and holds what it absorbs. I used on old machine oil and it was great. The only draw back is that it's a little stiff compared to other similar products that I used. I had to put weight on it to get it to conform with the space I was dealing with.

Love this product. Just wish it was a little bigger. I would of given a five star rating if the product was larger but otherwise it sucks up the water like a vacuum. Highly recommend.
